NWL SALES CONFERENCE IN AUSTIN
These bold and modern posters were designed to promote the WAY OUT WEST event at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, featuring Asleep at the Wheel. The series embraces Austin’s quirky, country, and eclectic charm, combining iconic Texan symbols with a clean, contemporary layout.

Each poster features a striking split composition, pairing a vivid color block with a photographic element that represents Austin’s identity. The visuals highlight Texas’ music, western heritage, and unique culture through imagery such as a cowboy hat, symbolizing Austin’s deep western roots, and a Texas longhorn, representing the state's rugged ranching heritage.
An acoustic guitar pays tribute to Austin’s world-famous live music scene, while a rowdy chicken nods to the city’s rural surroundings and the beloved local tradition of Chicken Shit Bingo. Other elements, like a lone star finial, a cowboy boot with a spur, and an armadillo, reinforce Texas pride and Austin’s unmistakable identity.

Beyond the posters, a full suite of event collateral was created to enhance the guest experience, including dinner menus, lanyards, wayfinding signage, vouchers, and additional promotional materials. The bold typography and red, blue, and yellow color blocks unify the visuals, reinforcing Texas’ lively spirit across all touchpoints. This poster series and its accompanying collateral perfectly capture Austin’s fun, weird, and western identity, making them both eye-catching event promotions and collectible art pieces.
